Paramedics are concerned about government plans to restructure land ambulance in Ontario, and rumours of privatization. Many communities are already grappling with ambulance shortages and underfunding, and paramedics fear these shortages will worsen if the government proceeds with a restructuring that makes it harder to respond when patients need an ambulance quickly.
